Getting Started with SaveSync: Your First 10 Minutes

A complete beginner's guide to setting up SaveSync and syncing your first co-op game save.

Just downloaded SaveSync? Great choice! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started with SaveSync in your first 10 minutes.

What You'll Need

Before we begin, make sure you have:

  • SaveSync installed from Steam
  • At least one supported co-op game
  • Friends to play with (the most important part!)

Step 1: Initial Setup (2 minutes)

Launch SaveSync

  1. Open SaveSync from your Steam library or desktop
  2. Complete the welcome wizard
  3. Sign in with your Steam account for easy friend management

Step 2: Connect Your First Game (3 minutes)

Auto-Detection

SaveSync automatically detects supported games in your Steam library:

  1. Click "Scan for Games" - SaveSync will find your supported co-op games

  3. Verify save location - SaveSync auto-detects save folders, but you can customize if needed

Manual Setup

For non-Steam games or custom installations:

  1. Click "Add Custom Game"
  2. Browse to your game's save folder
  3. Select the save files you want to sync
