SaveSync works with Enshrouded 1.0
Enshrouded left Early Access on 2026-10-15. If your group shares a world through SaveSync, you can keep doing that on 1.0, and anyone can still pick up and host while the original host is offline.
Changes
Enshrouded 1.0 is supported. Share a world with your group and hand over the host, with no dedicated server needed.
Your Early Access worlds carry over into 1.0.

Update SaveSync
If the save isn’t activated, activate it
Open the game. It will update the save to the new format
SaveSync will upload the new-format save
Skill tree reset: the first time an existing save is played in 1.0.0.0, the skill tree will reset. Everyone in the group needs to re-spend their skill points. This is Keen Games' change, not SaveSync's.
Keybinds also reset to defaults after the update.
What's new in Enshrouded 1.0 for co-op
From Keen Games' 1.0.0.0 changelog:
The full map is open, including the new biome Cinder's Cradle and two new Hollow Halls, "best visited with dependable friends".
The level cap is 50.
Host permissions are reworked. The host sets a default permission level, and individual players can be promoted or demoted and keep that role when they rejoin.
A new "Automatic" enemy count setting scales encounters to the party size nearby.
Saved worlds can be sorted by last play time.
The game tries harder to load saves even when corrupted data is detected.
Enshrouded and its content belong to Keen Games. SaveSync is not affiliated with or endorsed by Keen Games, Valve or Steam.
