SaveSync Steam Deck Support is Now in Beta
SaveSync now supports Steam Deck in beta. Share and sync co-op game saves between your Deck and PC. Join the beta through Discord.
SaveSync now runs on Steam Deck. The Linux beta is live, and you can start sharing and syncing your co-op game saves between your Deck and PC today.
If you have been waiting to use SaveSync on your Deck, here is everything you need to know about the beta.
What Works in the Beta
The core functionality is fully operational on Steam Deck:
- Sync and share co-op saves between Steam Deck and Windows PC
- Create and join sync groups with your friends
- Pull the latest save and host directly from your Deck
- Touch input and mouse pointer support in Gaming Mode
- All supported games that run on Steam Deck through Proton
If your group has been using SaveSync on PC, adding a Steam Deck player to the mix works exactly how you would expect. Install SaveSync on the Deck, join the same sync group, pull the save, and host.
How to Join the Beta
- Join our Discord server
- Grab the beta tester role from Channels & Roles
- Follow the setup instructions in the beta testers channel
- Install SaveSync on your Steam Deck
- Start syncing and let us know how it goes

A few games are still having their Linux save paths mapped and will be added in upcoming beta updates.
What We Are Still Working On
The beta is functional but not finished. Here is what is still in progress:
- Gamepad navigation - Currently works with touch and mouse pointer. Full gamepad/controller support is coming in a future update.
- Linux save path mapping - Most games are mapped, but a few are still being added.
- Performance optimization - The app works, but we are still tuning it for Deck hardware.
We are actively collecting feedback from beta testers to prioritize what to fix and ship next.
